Lex van Dop

About Lex
“Not mine, but Gandhi’s: Only he may demolish who can build something better.”

Position: Project manager

In 2002 I started Objectum as an independent entrepreneur. In addition to my work as director, I am still actively involved in projects. Due to my long experience with complex processes and large projects, the focus of my work is in the field of plan developments and redevelopment of urban areas.

What motivates me

I once read that our civilization rests on mediocrity. Because our building process is influenced by so many factors, there is always the danger that the end result will indeed be mediocre. What motivates me is to achieve the maximum result with all those involved in the construction process. Whether that’s the client, architect, consultant, builder and government. The end result should never be mediocre, but should always be better than it was before.

Rik Pronk

About Rik
“Collaborating with skilled people on the building assignments of tomorrow is what challenges me.”

Position: Project manager

Since 2003 I have been working as a project manager and housing consultant at Objectum. Within Objectum I am mainly involved in housing advice, process management and plan development. With my experience as an architect, I am also actively involved in the management. In addition to the substantive work, I am a partner of Objectum.

What motivates me

Construction projects move in a constant field of tension. From the agreements and responsibilities that have been laid down to the limited space there is to make changes. This requires both an accurate and flexible approach. It is precisely this field of tension that challenges me every day. My approach is characterized by unorthodox solutions and the initiation of special collaborations.

Edo Schrijver

About Edo
“Combining human and technical aspects in our projects is a daily puzzle that I want to solve.”

Position: Project manager

I have been working at Objectum since 2011 as a project manager in the field of process management, plan development, construction management and housing advice. I am involved in projects from the initiation phase to the implementation and maintenance phase in both new construction and renovation. My expertise lies in assignments for education, retail and government.

What motivates me

Coming up with integrated solutions, in which I look for the connecting factors between people. Motivating people with different interests to collaborate on a project is a challenge that comes up every day in construction.

Michiel Beijer

About Michiel

Position: Project manager

I have been working at Objectum since 2015 as a project manager in the field of plan development, construction management and process management. Within Objectum I use my broad interest in the entire real estate cycle in projects from initiatiation to actual use, in both new construction and renovation. My expertise lies in assignments for housing, care, transformation and retail.

What motivates me

Developing an idea into a building, where all different interests come together to achieve a maximum end result. It is important to focus on ‘the question behind the question’ and to always think in terms of possibilities. All this with a strong focus on quality. After all, at the end of the day, it’s all about a satisfied client and user.

Joy van de Bruinhorst

About Joy
“No project and associated building process are the same, which makes it very educational for me in addition to being motivating.”

Position: Project manager

After my education in Architecture and Real Estate & Housing, I started working as a project manager at Objectum in November 2016. In this position I support the senior project managers in their daily work for different types of projects.

What motivates me

The diversity between different projects (homes, offices, retail, etc.), with each project having its own challenges. No project and associated building process is the same, which makes it very educational for me in addition to being motivating.

Casper Vos

About Casper
“As a construction manager, you operate as a director of the construction process, taking into account all the interests of the parties involved.”

Position: Project manager

I have been working at Objectum as a project manager since June 2017. I have years of experience with an integral building process from the architect’s side. Becauseofthe increasing complexity in construction, our workrequire connection of different disciplines. That’s why I made the step to integrated construction management. At Objectum I do feasibility studies and project management, housing management and i keep supervision of construction quality.

What motivates me

As a construction manager you operate as a director of the building process . In the interests of all parties, I like to connect different disciplines without losing sight of the client’s wishes. I particularly enjoy devising real estate strategies and the design of the process itself, which ultimately leads to the desired end goal for all parties involved.
